We’ve teamed up with Dizzy Ink, the creatives behind our fabulous Light Up lanterns, to bring you the chance to have a go at printing your own bag and all for FREE.
This is a taster session to try heat-press printing which is a technique that transfers vinyl designs onto cloth.
At the session you will be able to come up with a design of your own (within reason) or use one created by Dizzy Ink.
The designs and themes all tie into First Art's work from Go the Distance Festival, celebrating community. Maybe it's a word you associate with community or the name of someone in your community that you admire.
You'll then set up the design on the bag and print it (with help, of course) and voila, you have one fancy bag which doubles as an artwork to take home!
The workshops are 45 minutes long and FREE to attend. There are multiple sessions taking place on the day but you need to book a spot.
You must book at ticket for each person in your party.
There is a maximum of five people per session.
All materials, instruction and supervision will be provided.
Children under 16 must be attended by an adult and children under 12 must be supervised at all times.
